We set out on the journey to start our own internet radio station inspired by the burlesque shows. Then we expanded to the front door till finally we were at a coffee shop and the person behind the desk asked, “do you have a radio station?”, very impressed so we thought, (as the espresso kicked in) YES WE DO! Telling the truth in advance. “Hellow, I am Papa Pastie, and you are listening to Boom Boom Room Radio”. People would ask us all the time, who is this, what is this, how can I listen to this, so we created our first DJ sound bits that would rotate the music before the shows. Really great Grandma, “THIS” is what you were listening to also? :). Fun Paradies of popular music, or Electro Swing, Big Band Swing, and completely inappropriate funny dirty songs from the 1920s. Well, let’s see, we have traditional burlesque songs, but they there was so much more that was inspired by the burlesque music.
Before we knew it, we had thousands of songs.

We wanted full control of our shows with nothing series, scary, dark, sad, and to do this we had to make our own ever-changing playlist. Over the ten-plus years, we have collected a lot of music to put on burlesque shows and for music before and after the shows.
It is the largest burlesque club in the country based out of St. History: We own and produce shows at the "World Famous" Boom Boom Room STL. Why do we do this? Like our show, we just love to make an audience smile. Harder to describe that show so just download, listen, and if you like it, enjoy. Again I apologize that you all had a negative experience but I can say we tried our best to accommodate every issue.Everything from, Paridies, (Pop songs done in vintage styles that make you laugh) New, Old, Vintage, Blues, Jazz, Rag, ElectroSwing, Pop, Show Tunes, comedy songs, even dirty songs from the 1910s and 20s that maybe your great Grandmaw listened to. I am proud to be a black female business owner and will continue to grow and enhance our offerings. We are a small local business trying to succeed in St. And one of the guests pushed Jeffrey at the end of service ready to start a fight after he asked to view everyone’s paid receipts and then being told to “f-off.” In our 3 years of being open we have never had anything like this happen. The same guest and his date requested a refund for show tickets, they were refunded and they still wanted to sit there. One of the guests flung the chair as we were trying to add more seating. Some in the party was very rude to their server Jack from the beginning making it uncomfortable for anyone to be of assistance. Also on our website it is noted that the space is intimate, many at the party had bags, purses etc next to them causing other guests not to have space. which delayed the process more in figuring out who belonged at the party. That’s not possible so I asked her to have those guests call me, I never received a phone call so I assumed that was resolved. Also the show was sold out and one of the host called and said that people purchased tickets and the website sent them a confirmation email and told them it was for 10:30 P.M. The salad has a lemon poppyseed vinaigrette dressing but mostly everyone asked for ranch. That was a major request which we normally would not have done but we did so anyway. One of the party host called to have everyone’s second course which is normally pork belly atop of roasted brussel sprouts changed to chicken. You attended the 29 guest birthday party that we tried very hard to accommodate for. I’m sorry you had a bad experience at The Boom Boom Room.
Unfortunately, I think we could have paid for the “silver seats” and had just as good of a view. We paid $165 per ticket for the “gold seats”, Which gave us a nice view of the dance floor where the performers were. It said there was no nudity but in a few of the dance acts, the girls are in pasties and a thong only. The three male dance performances were a little cheesy for my taste but I know that is relative and maybe others loved it. I would have rather paid less money for my ticket and had more time to dance. Suggestions: Shorten the number of dance performances so that we have more time to dance! Food was served at 8 PM and we didn’t get on the dance floor until 11:30 PM. The dancers were fun and the best entertainment was definitely the girl who did the fire hula hoop and Ariel silk dancing. Our server did a great job considering how busy she was. Positives: The MC was fantastic, in her gorgeous and outrageous costumes, she was funny and perfect for the job. A few suggestions could enhance the New Year’s Eve experience for everybody! Overall, our party of seven had a great time.
